Completed medical school in 1999 at the University of the Witwatersrand

Internship in 2000 at Edendale hospital, Pietermaritburg

Community service, 6 months Amajuba hospital Volksrust; 6 months in Red Cross Children’s hospital and Groote Schuur neonatal unit.

6 months spent as Medical officer in New Somerset Hospital in A&E, Cape Town   


Moved to the United Kingdom  in 2002

Worked as a Resident Medical Officer in Stamford, Lincolnshire for 6 months and Newport, Isle of Wight for 6 months     

Worked as a paediatric Senior house officer in Torquay; Devon for 6 months followed, by 3 months in KIrkaldy Scotland     


I returned to Torquay for 1 year as a Paediatric staff grade, followed by 6 months in Exeter Neonatal unit

Moved to London for 6 months and worked in the Hammersmith Childrens hospital for 6 months


I then returned to South Africa in 2006 and started work as a General practitioner at Intercare Fourways, where I still practice every day


I have routinely completed the Advanced Cardiac, Medical and Paediatric  Life Support Courses.


Started to work at CEMMS Waterfall City hospital in July 2018
