What to expect from your surgery: Week 11

October 28, 2018

The penultimate post in the What to Expect series is here and with it we bring you a shining little message reminding you exactly why you have been reading this blog for the last few months:

Your self-perception, interaction with other people and levels of confidence may change
drastically

It is important for your in-house psychologist to get to know you well before the surgery
take place. Your life situations may change after the surgery, many long overdue and for the
better. To guide you through the process, you should actively seek the support of the team’s
psychologist. The changes may otherwise be intimidating to deal with on your own, without
professional support.
